Does a PC have to be connected to the internet to play Alpha-DVD?
No, it does not have to. Alpha-DVD can be played regardless of internet connection.

Do I need an additional player to play Alpha-DVD?
For DVD video, additional player is not provided because license for Mpeg2 codec,
etc to play in a PC needs to be purchased. However, Alpha-DISC supports most
popular DVD playing software. If a user uses unsupported DVD playing software,
please contact support@settec.com and we will try to add it shortly.

Is there any relationship between Settec video copy protection
technologies and CSS encryption?
Settec's copy protection has no direct relationship with CSS or CPRM. DVD Copy
Control Association(www.dvdcca.org) is in charge of CSS(Content Scramble System).

Can Alpha-DVD technology be applied with or without CSS encrpytion?
Yes, Alpha-DVD technoloty can be applied regardless of CSS encryption.

After changing system, I cannot play Alpha-DVD in my PC.
There is a high possibility that it is due to the PC environments.
Based on past experience, these types of playability problems are almost
always resolved by downloading the latest drivers or software for the equipment
and operating system involved.

There are 1~2 second slight pauses when it is played CE DVD players.
Movie titles with play time longer than 2 hours or encoded with high data bit rate,
there are 2 layers in one side of a disc. When moving to the second layer,
the laser re-focuses to find data location. This may make video to pause
for a moment. This slight pause period may vary depends on a player.
However, this pause does not indicate there is a problem with the player or disc.
